Privacy Policy

ConfirmFlow ("we", "our", or "us") provides automated WhatsApp order confirmation and fulfillment notification services for Shopify merchants ("App"). This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

1. Information Collected by the App

When you install the App, we automatically access certain information from your Shopify store, including order details, customer contact phone numbers, order fulfillment status, and order numbers required to deliver order verification messages.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use customer order information to send automated WhatsApp order confirmation requests, process order status tags (e.g. WhatsApp Confirmed, WhatsApp Cancelled, WhatsApp Dispatched), and deliver tracking notification updates.

3. Data Sharing & Security

Data transmitted between Shopify and ConfirmFlow is protected using standard HTTPS encryption. Order notification content and phone numbers are sent to WhatsApp to deliver the service requested by the merchant. Shopify processes installation and billing information. We do not sell personal data or share it with third-party advertising networks.

4. Data Retention & Erasure

Message delivery logs are retained for up to 90 days for troubleshooting and reporting. Upon app uninstallation, the stored Shopify access token is removed and the paired WhatsApp session is disconnected. Shopify customer and shop erasure webhooks are verified and processed automatically.

5. Your Choices

Merchants can disable notification types, disconnect WhatsApp, or uninstall the App from Shopify Admin. Data access and deletion requests can be submitted through the merchant or by emailing our support address.
